Farewell Words
Now that I have documented some of my work, I hope you all enjoy. I am still a developing writer. I hope to improve even more in the future. My goal is to keep people interested in reading my work. I wish that while reading my work, readers will be able to connect to it in some way. By connecting to a piece of work, you will feel closer to it and enjoy reading it. You might also discover something that you haven't thought of before.
Lots of writers come to mind whose works stand the test of time. Some examples are J.K. Rowling, Edgar Allan Poe, and Roald Dahl. Their literature is still being read in English classes and for enjoyment today. There are many characteristics that make up such famous writers. Those characteristics include being able to make connections, including descriptive details, and elaborating characters and the story line. Making connections is important because readers will understand where the author is coming from. They will have a personal connection. Including descriptive details keeps things interesting. Readers can be in the character's shoes or visualize what is going on by the character's sense of smell, touch, sight, taste or sound. These writers must also know how to elaborate characters so that they will have depth to them and not be boring. Sentences must be elaborated enough so that they don't keep going on and on.
