These are files to my outlines, rough drafts, brainstorming, peer reviews, final drafts, and more for my Freshman Expectations essay.
Why I chose this piece: I chose this piece to show my thought processes. I wanted to let readers see how I plan my papers when writing. By doing this, readers can see the whole writing process that I went through. I thought this method worked very well for me. It made everything neat and organized. It was then easier to type it all up into a formal essay. This was the first time that I learned about MLA format, and I still use it for every paper that I have to type up. Using MLA format looks more professional and easier to read. I felt like I worked very hard on this, but it was worth it because this essay let me relieve some of the stresses I had about being a freshman. I could also be able to connect to my classmates because they had some of the same fears I did as well.
